Position Title: Materials Management TechnicianContract Length: 06 MonthsLocation: Branchburg, NJWork ScheduleC Shift: Sun–Tue with alternating Wed, 4:15 PM–4:30 AMD Shift: Thu–Sat with alternating Wed, 4:15 PM–4:30 AMJob SummaryThe Materials Management Technician is responsible for accurately performing manual and automated tasks necessary for the receipt, storage, transportation, picking, transferring, and staging of materials that may be hazardous, temperature-sensitive, or high-value.Responsibilities include transferring incoming palletized materials to general storage areas, preparing and transferring raw materials and tissue to production areas, maintaining assigned areas according to cGMP requirements, identifying and posting production materials, and completing electronic documentation for material movement, disposal, and final product transfers.The technician is responsible for cross-training in multiple operational areas, maintaining quality, conducting cycle counts, maintaining frozen tissue inventory and transfers, and executing the E-Beam Out process.The position involves operating processing and material-handling equipment, including lifting equipment and pallet jacks. Must be able to lift a minimum of 50 lbs. and store and maintain human tissue in -80°C freezers.Supervisory Responsibility: N/AKey Duties and Responsibilities• 30%: Prepare and transfer raw materials and tissue to production areas.• 10%: Receive and store assessed or frozen tissue in -80°C freezers after cleanroom processing and document activities in batch records.• 30%: Stage Day 1 batches required for processing. Perform Start Thaw and End Thaw of AlloDerm tissue.• 15%: Perform housekeeping of E-Beam, GMP, and freezer areas/rooms. Maintain materials in the Kanban system, including GMP Vestis Gowns/Frocks, and order supplies.• 10%: Receive tissue for processing and stage in designated freezer.• 5%: Perform daily cycle counts of non-tissue items and monitor material expiration dates.QualificationsEducation and Experience• High School Diploma or GED.• Ability to perform basic math calculations and read and understand training documents, product labeling, and warehouse signage written in English.• Ability to adapt to changing work demands.• Self-motivated with the ability to work in a fast-paced, positive, team-oriented environment.• Strong multitasking skills.• Ability to lift 50 lbs. and/or more with assistance.• Ability to bend, reach, stoop, climb, stand, and walk for an entire shift of 12 hours or more.Essential Skills, Experience, and Competencies• Familiarity with Microsoft Office products and general computer skills.• Experience with RF scanners.• Ability to comprehend and execute standard problem-solving skills.• Effective verbal and written communication skills.• Ability to operate material-handling equipment, including pallet jacks, hand tools, and other warehouse equipment.• Ability to maintain productivity and accuracy while operating material-handling equipment.EEO:“Mindlance is an Equal Opportunity Employer and does not discriminate in employment on the basis of – Minority/Gender/Disability/Religion/LGBTQI/Age/Veterans.”
