This role works in a dual-provider hygiene model alongside a dedicated hygiene assistant to increase access to care, improve efficiency, and elevate the patient experience.ResponsibilitiesDeliver comprehensive periodontal care in accordance with all state dental board requirementsPartner with a dedicated hygiene assistant to delegate non-clinical and preparatory tasks, maximizing chairside efficiency and patient accessMaintain an efficient schedule that supports increased patient volume without compromising quality of careEducate patients on periodontal health, disease prevention, and the connection between oral health and overall systemic healthCollaborate with the Dentist and care team on periodontal charting, treatment planning, and follow-up to support optimal patient outcomesQualificationsDental hygiene licensure compliant with the State Dental Board with no adverse actionsExperience working in a fast-paced or assisted/expanded hygiene model preferred, but not requiredStrong communication skills with both patients and team membersAbility to lead chairside care while working collaboratively with a hygiene assistantProficient with Microsoft Office products and dental software; experience with Dentrix preferredCommitment to delivering consistent, high-quality, patient-centered hygiene careBenefitsAs a valued team member, you'll enjoy a rewarding career with growth opportunities and a comprehensive benefits package.
