Short-Term Surgeon Locum We are seeking a highly skilled Cardiothoracic and Vascular Surgeon for a short-term locum tenens assignment near Pocatello, Idaho. This role involves providing advanced surgical care for adult cardiac, thoracic, and vascular patients, including open-heart procedures such as CABG and aortic dissections. Location: Pocatello, IdahoAssignment Dates: December 18 ??? December 21, 2025Shift: 24-hour shifts, 7 AM ??? 7 AM Key Responsibilities Provide 24-hour call coverage and daily rounding on all inpatients Perform surgeries and manage patient care alongside a dedicated surgical team: first-assistant (NP/PA), two surgical techs, RN circulator, anesthesiologist, and nursing staff Ensure high-quality patient care for complex cardiac and vascular cases Qualifications Board Certification from the American Board of Thoracic Surgery Valid Idaho medical license with DEA/CSR registration Competency with Meditech EMR system This locum opportunity is ideal for a dedicated surgeon seeking to provide critical care in a supportive, team-oriented environment.
