COCC recognizes the value of transferable leadership experience and systems thinking gained outside of traditional higher education paths.Key ResponsibilitiesCollegewide LeadershipServe as a strategic partner to the President and Senior Leadership TeamLead collegewide planning efforts that enhance operational efficiency and stakeholder experienceBuild strong relationships across the institution and with community, business, and government partnersRepresent the College externally and support Board engagement and governanceFiscal Strategy and StewardshipServe as the College’s chief financial officer, leading budget development, forecasting, and financial planningEnsure accurate, transparent financial reporting to the President, Board, and regulatory agenciesGuide long-term financial sustainability, including capital planning, bond opportunities, and alternative revenue strategiesOversee procurement, contracting, and risk management functionsOperational LeadershipProvide strategic oversight of facilities, infrastructure, sustainability, and campus servicesLead facilities master planning and long-range infrastructure developmentOversee auxiliary operations including bookstore and related servicesStrengthen systems, processes, and cross-functional collaboration to improve efficiency and accountabilityDevelop and lead a high-performing, collaborative divisionExperience You Will Bring:Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Accounting, or related field7+ years of senior-level leadership experience in multi-fund financial management7+ years leading fiscally sustainable budget and operational strategiesPreferred Experience: Master’s degreeExperience working with governing boardsExperience with facilities, capital planning, or bond-funded projectsCertifications such as CPA, CMA, or CPFOCOCC encourages applicants who bring equivalent experience or non-traditional career paths to apply. Salary: $166,000 to $194,000Location: This is a full-time, onsite role in Bend, Oregon. Candidates must reside in Oregon at the time of employment.
