You will use professional communication, critical thinking, and time management skills to ensure projects and tasks are completed in a timely manner. You will work with members of the Front End Sales Team, along with other Human Resource Business Partners to expand your knowledge, skills, and abilities related to project management, documentation, maintaining quality people data, resource planning, performance management, data analysis and time management.Your Responsibilities:Create a new Performance Improvement Plan (PIP) outline for manager and HR use. Likely in Excel or Microsoft Word, you will work with our Employment Council to create a document to track the PIP process from initiation to completion.Evaluate improvements needed for our HR onboarding process by collecting feedback from recent new hires. This may also include the creation of new resources to be used during onboarding such as a guide/email template for new hires to follow.Put together process documents for managers and employees to use when a life event occurs. One pagers for items such as Expecting a Child, Going on Leave and Retirement.Put together a brochure/document of applicable internal and external trainings available for development opportunities.Partner with HRBP of US Front End Sales to assist managers with opening Requisitions through HiNext as needed.Draft and launch a retention-focused survey with the assistance of the HRBP. Produce a summary document once results are received and assist in presenting the Sales Leadership Team.Assist with launching new Diversity and Inclusion initiativesData review to ensure quality; creating data update tickets and follow through to ensure accuracy.Other tasks as assigned by the HRBP of US Front End SalesLiving Hitachi Energy’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.Your Background:Rising junior or senior obtaining their bachelor’s degree in related field OR master’s student with one year left before graduatingProficient in Microsoft Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)Results-driven and a proven problem-solverAbility to multi-taskAbility to work across culturesGood conceptual and analytical thinkingHighly developed communicationEffective working within a teamSelf-motivated and ability to work independentlyCandidate must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for Hitachi Energy in the United States
