Come join us on this journey to create a brighter, more sustainable future in the Columbus area.We are currently looking for a Facilities Maintenance Supervisor for our factory in Columbus, Ohio. The Facilities Maintenance Supervisor is responsible for the proper maintenance and functioning of all facilities within the organization. This role leads a team of maintenance associates, ensuring that tasks are completed safely, efficiently, and in accordance with company standards and regulations.Responsibilities:Lead a team of Facilities Maintenance Technicians ensuring safety and integrity is our top priority in performing all maintenance tasks.Assure adherence to preventive and corrective maintenance schedules, with a special focus on compressed air, water, and control systems operations.Monitor, report, and drive improvements in maintenance performance metrics across all shifts.Coordinate best practices with other shifts to maximize productivity.Communicate with shift leaders, production managers, and engineering teams for smooth shift transitions and aligned strategies in maintaining facilities' systems.Assure timely completion of building maintenance activities.Make critical decisions regarding the operation and maintenance of utility systems, especially during unexpected downtimes or emergencies.Qualifications:A Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Facilities Management, or a related field or 5-7 years of equivalent experience.Strong understanding of compressed air systems, pneumatic equipment, and related machinery. Familiarity with maintenance tools and equipment related to these systems.Proven 1-2 years experience in leading and coaching a team. Ability to mentor, train, and guide technicians.Highly developed interpersonal, organizational and communication skills.Strong sense of ambition, self-motivation and self-discipline.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and respond quickly to operational needs.Ability to stand, walk, bend, and lift as needed within a manufacturing environment.Work Environment & ScheduleFull-time, on-site role in a manufacturing environment.May require occasional support during off-shift hours depending on operational needs.At Illuminate USA, we are committed to fostering an inclusive and diverse workplace.
