Computed Tomography Technologist Travel Job

CT TechnologistBecome a vital part of a hospital team in Lincoln, NE as an experienced CT Technologist. You will accurately follow physician scanning instructions, administer contrast materials, operate CT scanners, and perform varied diagnostic imaging studies across CT, X-ray, and interventional areas.Minimum Requirements:2 years CT Technologist experience.Completion of a Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) accredited radiography program or equivalent education.Current American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) certification in CT (ARRT-CT) required.BLS certification required.Experience with GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice CT scanners required.Experience using EPIC charting system required.Experience with PACS (McKesson) preferred.Experience working in a hospital setting and floating to cover CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department preferred.Willingness to work varied schedules, holiday coverage, and participate in call/standby as required.Compliance with client policies required: ability to submit a valid driver's license for radius verification, acceptance of provided radiation badge, and adherence to fingernail/artificial nail policy for patient care areas.Must not be currently employed as full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI or Dignity Health, and must reside outside the client 50-mile radius per radius rule.Orientation requirement: 12 unit-specific shifts plus 12 hours of departmental orientation.Preferred attributes: flexibility, positive attitude, and willingness to learn.Assignment Details:Facility type: Hospital.Shift name: Days.Typical schedule: 3 to 4 twelve-hour shifts per week.On-call requirement: Two nights of call per week as noted.Charting system: EPIC.Department coverage may include CT, X-ray, OR, Endoscopy, and Emergency Department.Orientation: Department-specific orientation of 12 shifts and 12 total orientation hours.Scanner requirements: GE VCT 64-slice and GE Revolution 128-slice present and required.Cancellation policy: Client may cancel up to 4 shifts during a 13-week assignment; fewer cancellations apply to shorter assignments.Location HighlightsLincoln offers a mix of urban and outdoor lifestyle within easy reach of regional attractions.
