Intensive Care Unit Nurse Position Overview: We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated Intensive Care Unit (ICU) Nurse to provide comprehensive, high-quality care to critically ill patients. Key Responsibilities: Deliver evidence-based, patient-centered care to critically ill patients in the ICU setting. Monitor and assess patient conditions continuously, utilizing advanced cardiac monitoring equipment. Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to develop and implement individualized care plans. Administer medications, treatments, and interventions following established protocols and best practices. Accurately document patient care and progress within the electronic medical record (Meditech). Respond promptly to emergency situations, providing lifesaving interventions as needed. Assist and supervise monitoring technicians to ensure continuous, high-quality cardiac monitoring. Maintain strict adherence to safety standards, infection control protocols, and hospital policies. Qualifications: Valid and current Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of Oklahoma. Bachelor of Science in Nursing (BSN) preferred. Minimum of two years experience in ICU or critical care settings. PALS certification is required; BLS certification must be active. Proficiency in using Meditech electronic medical records system. Strong clinical assessment skills and ability to respond effectively in high-pressure situations. Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
