Head of Asset Management | DG Solar & Storage | Remote (Northeast Preferred) The Company:We have partnered with a leading distributed generation solar & storage developer, owner, and operator, in their search for aHead of Asset Management . Founded in 2015 with private‐equity backing, they manage a 400+ MW portfolio across the U.S., focusing on commercial, industrial, and community solar projects. The company is dedicated to advancing the clean energy transition through responsible investment and long‐term partnerships.The Role:TheHead of Asset Managementwill oversee the operational, technical, and financial performance of their distributed solar portfolio. This individual will provide strategic oversight of bothTechnicalandCommercial Asset Managementfunctions, ensuring optimal asset performance, compliance, and value creation. As a key member of the leadership team, the Head of Asset Management will drive portfolio optimization, operational excellence, and cross‐functional collaboration across finance, operations, and commercial teams.Key ResponsibilitiesLead the overall asset management function across their distributed generation solar portfolio.Oversee day‐to‐day operations and long‐term performance of assets, ensuring safety, efficiency, and profitability.Implement strategies to maximize generation, reduce downtime, and control operating costs.Ensure full compliance with regulatory, contractual, and reporting requirements.Partner with finance, M&A, and O&M teams to ensure seamless lifecycle management.Manage community solar programs, including subscription billing, customer relations, and revenue reconciliation.Administer and optimize incentive programs (SRECs, RECs, ITC compliance, and state‐level community solar initiatives).Develop and maintain performance reporting, including energy production, revenue, and incentive tracking.Lead, mentor, and develop asset management staff, fostering a culture of accountability and continuous improvement.Identify risks and opportunities across the portfolio, driving proactive solutions and long‐term value creation.RequirementsBachelor's degree in Engineering, Finance, Business, or a related field (Master's preferred).10+ years of experience in renewable energy asset management, operations, or portfolio optimization.Proven ability to lead cross‐functional teams in a high‐growth environment.Strong understanding of both technical and commercial aspects of DG solar operations.Excellent analytical, communication, and stakeholder management skills.Experience with incentive administration, community solar programs, and revenue optimization preferred.Location Remote role, with occasional travel to offices inNew York City .Seniority LevelExecutiveEmployment TypeFull‐timeJob FunctionManagement, Engineering, and FinanceIndustriesElectric Power Generation, Utilities, and Services for Renewable Energy#J-18808-Ljbffr
