Job Description:Considering making an application for this job Check all the details in this job description, and then click on Apply.Non-Invasive Cardiologist (MD/DO)Position Summary The Non-Invasive Cardiologist provides comprehensive cardiovascular care through the evaluation, diagnosis, and medical management of patients with heart and vascular disease.This role focuses on non-invasive diagnostic testing, preventive cardiology, and longitudinal patient care, working collaboratively with multidisciplinary teams to deliver high-quality, evidence-based, patient-centered care.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesEvaluate and manage patients with a broad range of cardiovascular conditionsDiagnose and treat coronary artery disease, heart failure, arrhythmias, valvular heart disease, hypertension, and lipid disordersPerform and interpret non-invasive cardiac diagnostic studies, including echocardiography, stress testing, ambulatory monitoring, and cardiac imaging as applicableProvide inpatient cardiology consultation services and outpatient clinic careDevelop and implement individualized, evidence-based treatment plansParticipate in preventive cardiology and cardiovascular risk-reduction initiativesCollaborate with interventional cardiology, electrophysiology, cardiac surgery, primary care, and other specialistsEducate patients and families regarding diagnoses, treatment plans, lifestyle modification, and disease preventionMaintain accurate and timely clinical documentationParticipate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiativesSupervise and educate residents, fellows, or advanced practice providers as applicableComply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards QualificationsDoctor of Medicine (MD) or Doctor of Osteopathic Medicine (DO) from an accredited medical schoolCompletion of an accredited Internal Medicine residency programCompletion of an accredited Cardiovascular Disease fellowshipBoard-eligible or board-certified in Cardiovascular DiseaseAbility to obtain and maintain unrestricted state medical licensureDEA registration or eligibility Skills and CompetenciesExpertise in non-invasive cardiovascular diagnostics and medical managementStrong clinical judgment and diagnostic decision-making skillsExcellent communication and patient counseling abilitiesAbility to manage complex and chronic cardiovascular conditionsCommitment to evidence-based practice and patient-centered care Work EnvironmentOutpatient cardiology clinics, diagnostic testing laboratories, and inpatient hospital settingsCall coverage as determined by practice or service needs Physical RequirementsAbility to sit, stand, and move throughout clinic and hospital environmentsManual dexterity for diagnostic testing and examinationsVisual and auditory acuity sufficient for interpretation of diagnostic studiesRequirements Must maintain state certification and/or licensure. xmcpwfu
