Job Description
Job Summary
Support tax senior manager in preparation of federal and state income tax returns, assist in annual global tax provision and special tax projects, manage and coordinate business tax filings with third party service providers. Assist in responding to tax notices and participate in the handling of tax audits as well as providing tax support to the business units.
Specific responsibilities include, but not limited to:
Calculation of quarterly estimated federal and state income tax payments
Preparation of federal and state income, franchise and/or gross receipts tax workpapers and returns
Assist in the preparation and reporting of the subsidiaries and foreign parent information returns and reporting such as Forms 5471, 5472, 8868, 1118, and FinCEN Form
Assist in the calculation and information gathering of Mid-year and annual global tax provision, including the preparation of tax account reconciliations
Assist in the calculation of Cost sharing and management fee allocations
Prepare responses to tax agency notices and tax audit inquiries
Manage sales and use, property tax returns to ensure payment/reconciliation are completed properly by third-party service providers
Prepare annual reports, and/or franchise tax returns related to state qualifications
Provide sales tax support to business units including but not limited to review and maintenance of resale certificates
Responsible for tax depreciation computations and maintenance of fixed assets tax subledger
Preparing annual FBAR reports
Responsible annual 1099 reporting working with Belkin AP team
Responsible for maintenance of tax calendar
Perform all other duties as assigned
Provide tax support to business units
Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Knowledge of laws and regulations applicable to federal and state tax code
General knowledge of GAAP accounting
Solid tax and accounting skills
Excellent written communication and verbal communication skills
Strong analytical and research skills
Well-organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle a fast-paced work environment
Ability to work independently and prioritize duties with minimal supervision, in order to meet deadlines
Ability to complete multiple duties with accuracy shifting from one to another with frequent interruptions and competing deadlines
Strong computer skills including proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Access, Outlook and web-browsers
Knowledge of computerized information systems used in financial and/or accounting applications
Education and Experience Requirements:
Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Finance, or equivalent job-related experience
3-5 years of experience in Corporate Income Tax
2-3 years of directly related Corporate indirect taxes such as sales tax and property tax preferred
Experience within the corporate tax department of a large multi-national corporation is preferred
Minimum 2 years with Big 4 accounting firm is preferred
CPA certification preferred

Range for this position:
$100,000 - $135,000
Factors such as geographic location, academic credentials, relevant experience, and specific knowledge, skills and abilities will influence the actual salary offered.
