About Us: Windy City Kiddie Academy is a nurturing and educational child care center committed to providing high-quality early childhood education for children from 6 weeks to 12 years. Position Overview: We are seeking an experienced, passionate, and motivated Child Care Center Director to lead our team and oversee daily operations. The Director will be responsible for ensuring compliance with state licensing requirements, managing staff, maintaining positive relationships with families, and promoting a high standard of early childhood education. Key Responsibilities: Oversee the daily operations of the center, ensuring a safe and nurturing environment. Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff to maintain high-quality care and educational practices. Ensure compliance with Illinois Department of Children and Family Services (DCFS) regulations and licensing standards. Develop and implement curriculum and programs that support children’s social, emotional, and academic growth. Maintain open communication with parents, addressing concerns and promoting family engagement. Manage enrollment and administrative tasks. Promote the center within the community to attract new families. Develop and implement policies and procedures, including guidance and discipline policies, staff training, and safety protocols. Qualifications: Minimum of a Bachelor’s degree in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field. Illinois Director Credential and knowledge of DCFS licensing regulations. Minimum of [3+] years of experience in child care leadership or center management. Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
