Project Coordinator
A well-established commercial landscape construction company serving the Chicagoland market is seeking a Project Coordinator to support Project Managers and help ensure projects transition smoothly from award into production.
This role is ideal for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable working in a fast-paced construction environment. The Project Coordinator plays an important role in keeping projects organized, managing documentation, supporting procurement, and ensuring communication between project teams, vendors, and clients remains clear and efficient.

Key Responsibilities
Support Project Managers during the post-award phase of commercial landscape construction projects
Organize project documentation and maintain accurate records within internal systems
Prepare and manage submittals including product data, shop drawings, and subcontractor documentation for active projects
Maintain submittal logs and track approvals throughout the lifecycle of each project
Coordinate procurement of materials and plant stock by working with vendors, manufacturers, and nurseries to manage availability, purchasing, and delivery schedules
Track construction materials and procurement timelines for each project
Maintain and update job status reports and project tracking systems
Assist Project Managers and Superintendents throughout various stages of the construction process
Review subcontractor work orders to verify quantities and unit pricing
Assist with punch list coordination and project closeout documentation
Qualifications
2–3 years of experience in landscape construction, general construction, or a related industry preferred
Knowledge of construction processes and industry best practices is a plus
Strong organizational and communication skills
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously
Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook)

Pay: $80,000.00 - $95,000.00 per year
