Essential Skills: Good communication skills with the ability to relay critiques, questions anddiscrepancies with management Good comprehension skills with the ability to review job ticket instructions anddetermine the requirements of individual projects Sufficient shop math skills, with the understanding of adding/subtracting dimensions Attention to detail with an emphasis on taking accurate measurements Ability to work independently and think critically in order to resolve issues Familiarity with hand tools and power tools Experience working in a shop or warehouse environmentJob Duties: Ensure all rubbering, cutting edges and hardware are added to cutting dies Clean equipment and maintain a clean facility Read Computer Aided Drafting (CAD) drawings Follow all safety protocols and maintain a safe working environment Communicate critiques, questions and discrepancies with management Assist with quality control work Deliver products to customers and provide customer support Additional tasks and responsibilities as assigned by managementPhysical Requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. Ability to read and interpret basic instructions and diagrams Able to work for long periods standing at a workstation or table Must be able to work safely around sharp tools and power equipment
