Customer Sales Specialist

Job Overview We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Customer Sales Specialist to join our team. This role is responsible for supporting day-to-day customer sales operations while also assisting with general office and administrative functions. The ideal candidate is organized, reliable, and comfortable handling multiple responsibilities in a fun, fast-paced office environment. Responsibilities Communicate with customers to take and process orders using QuickBooks Perform light collections and follow up on outstanding customer balances in a professional manner Assist with general office duties, including filing, data entry, and administrative support Answer and direct incoming phone calls in a courteous and professional manner Support accounting and management staff with additional tasks as needed * Qualifications Minimum of 3 years of data entry experience Associate’s degree in Business preferred Working knowledge of Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable processes Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Knowledge of AI and previous sales support and purchasing Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines Proficient in basic computer applications (quickbooks software experience a plus) Reliable, responsible, and professional demeanor Job Type: Part-time Pay: $25.00 - $27.00 per hour Expected hours: 30 per week Benefits: 401(k) 2% match Employee discount Health insurance Paid time off Ability to Commute: Portland, ME 04103 (Required) Work Location: In person
