Hematology/Oncology Physician

Job Opportunity: Locum - Physician - Hematology Oncology We are seeking a Medical Oncology and Hematology Physician for an outpatient clinic located in Lapeer, Michigan. This facility is a satellite of a larger healthcare network, and is equipped to provide comprehensive care with support staff that includes oncology RNs, medical assistants, and a social worker. The position offers coverage during clinic hours from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM, three days a week, and is essential to fill a current recruitment gap. Job Responsibilities: Provide outpatient clinic coverage on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays.Manage an average of patients per day in a supportive outpatient setting.Participate in tumor board meetings and collaborate with the medical team.Provide clinic call as required.Utilize Cerner EMR system for patient documentation and care management. Qualifications: Board Certified in Medical Oncology and Hematology - REQUIREDBLS/ACLS certification - REQUIREDActive Michigan medical license - REQUIREDFamiliarity with Cerner EMR system - PREFERREDRecent NPDB self-query required (within 30 days) - REQUIRED License and Certification Requirements: Active state license in MichiganBoard Certification in Medical Oncology and HematologyBLS and ACLS certificationsDiscover the charming city of Lapeer, Michigan!
