Job Descriptionbout the Role:We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Litigation Secretary to join our team in our Los Angeles office. This role is ideal for a professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment and has strong experience supporting attorneys in litigation matters.Key Responsibilities:Provide administrative and legal support to attorneys in civil litigation mattersPrepare, format, proofread, and file legal documents (state and federal courts)Manage court filings, including e-filing and calendaring deadlinesMaintain case files and organize legal documentsCoordinate attorney schedules, meetings, and court appearancesCommunicate with clients, court personnel, and opposing counselAssist with trial preparation, including binders and exhibitsQualifications:3+ years of experience as a litigation secretary or legal assistantStrong knowledge of court rules, procedures, and e-filing systems (California courts required)Excellent typing, formatting, and proofreading skillsProficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Outlook, Excel)Experience with legal case management software is a plusStrong organizational skills and attention to detailAbility to multitask and meet tight deadlinesWhat We Offer:Competitive salary based on experienceComprehensive benefits package (health, dental, vision)Paid time off and holidaysSupportive and collaborative work environment
