This role is essential to delivering a high-quality bar experience while adjusting service style to match the atmosphere of each event.Our venue hosts a wide range of experiences—from elegant quinceañeras and private celebrations to high-energy nightlife and live music events. Team members must be able to match the tone of each event, maintaining a polished and professional presence in formal settings while bringing energy and personality to nightlife environments.This is a guest-facing role where engagement, presence, and the ability to connect with guests directly impact bar sales and overall experience.Key ResponsibilitiesPrepare and serve alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages efficiently, accurately, and with attention to presentationMaintain a clean, organized, and fully stocked bar environment at all timesAdapt service style, communication, and energy level based on the type of eventEngage guests with confidence and charisma to enhance their experience and promote beverage salesAssist with bar setup and breakdown for private events and nightlife operationsOperate POS systems and handle transactions accuratelySupport team members to ensure smooth service during high-volume eventsUphold safety, cleanliness, and responsible alcohol service standardsWhat We’re Looking ForStrong personality and charisma — ability to engage guests and create a memorable experienceAdaptability — able to match the tone of events (formal, social, or high-energy)Sales mindset — comfortable recommending and promoting liquor options to guestsWillingness to learn — no experience required, but must be open to learning different liquors, flavor profiles, and guest preferencesProfessionalism and reliability in a fast-paced, event-driven environmentAbility to work nights, weekends, and peak event hoursExperienceNo prior bartending experience requiredHospitality, bar, or customer service experience preferred but not requiredCompensationBase Pay: $4.00 – $5.00 per hourTips: Typically $4 – $10+ per hour additional, depending on guest volume and tippingHigh-Volume Events: Increased earning potential during large events and peak nightsAdditional RequirementsTABC Seller-Server Certification is required before the first shift (no exceptions)Must be legally eligible to serve alcohol in the state of TexasCommitment to responsible alcohol service and compliance with all regulationsAbout Freedom Event CenterFreedom Event Center is a modern, two-story atrium-style venue designed for both elevated private events and high-energy nightlife experiences.
