This is structured as a business partnership opportunity, where candidate takes ownership of lab operations and shares directly in its financial success.This position is ideal for someone who wants to run a testing business with the support, infrastructure, and brand of Crystal Instruments.Job ResponsibilitiesHALT and HASS: Conduct HALT (Highly Accelerated Life Test) and HASS (Highly Accelerated Stress Screen) testing services.Vibration Testing: Perform vibration tests on electrodynamic shaker systems.QTP and QTR Documentation: Develop Qualification Test Procedures (QTP) and Qualification Test Reports (QTR) for testing services.Scheduling: Coordinate equipment and testing schedules with Sales.Installations: Support the installation of test articles in environmental chambers, vibration tables, and automated test stations.Proposal Writing: Prepare RFI, RFQ, and RFP responses for potential customers.Documentation: Maintain organized records for test procedures and results.QualificationsEducation: B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.Skills: Strong mechanical and computer skills, with a professional and social demeanor.Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills.Availability: Full-time commitment with immediate availability.Preferred Experience: Background in instrumentation, data acquisition, vibration analysis, and related fields.Industry Experience: Candidates with experience at major testing labs are highly encouraged to apply.CompensationBase salary: $80,000 - $100,000Profit sharing: Tied directly to lab performance and profitabilityPotential to grow earnings substantially as the lab expands
