Our Low Observables engineering team is responsible for designing, analyzing, testing, and sustaining stealth features that reduce radar (RCS) and infrared (IR) signatures, ensuring our systems remain undetectable in contested environments.WHAT YOU'LL DO* Assist in the design and development of antennas that go on low observable unmanned airvehicles* Design, simulate, and optimize antennas that meet RF performance while maintaining RADARcross section requirements* Develop and decompose requirements by performing link-budget analysis to support RF systemarchitecture trades such as required antenna gain, pattern coverage, co-site interference, etc.* Lead IR&D development of antenna designs by rapid design and prototyping of antennas tosupport program emerging needs* Work with subcontractors and/or internal development teams to integrate antenna systemsonto un-manned platforms* Develop analysis tools, workflows, and validation processes for antenna predictions* Plan and execute antenna performance and RCS testing of Low Observable antennascomponents and installed antenna testingREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS* 3+ years of Research & Development experience of general RF and antennas* Proficient knowledge of RF concepts which as aperture antennas, impedance matching, smithchart, etc.* Proficient in antenna prototyping tools and techniques* Experience with antenna modeling and prediction tools, such as ComputationalElectromagnetic (CEM) tools, HFSS, CST Microwave Studio, SENTRi, ADS, FEKO* Proficient in building RF analytical tools in MATLAB, C++, Python* Proficient in antenna measurement techniques such as anechoic chamber, near field/far field RFmeasurements, RCS measurements* BS or higher degree in STEM discipline* Must possess and be able to maintain an active U.S. Top Secret security clearancePREFERRED QUALIFICATIONSExperience with designing LO aperturesExperience in phased array designs, RF front-ends, and testingHands-on maintenance experience with Low Observable aircraftAbility to work in a fast paced, autonomously driven, and demanding environmentUS Salary Range$129,000 - $171,000 USDThe salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
