Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for a Mechanical Estimator based in Woodbridge, VA. The Mechanical Estimator will be responsible for analyzing project requirements, preparing cost estimates for HVAC systems, collaborating with project teams to develop competitive proposals, reviewing blueprints and specifications, and identifying materials and labor costs. The role will also involve ensuring compliance with industry standards, maintaining accurate records of estimates, and assisting in budget management for projects. Qualifications Proficiency in HVAC system design, analysis, and cost estimationAbility to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specificationsStrong analytical and mathematical skills for accurate cost calculationsExperience with estimating software and Microsoft Office toolsExcellent organizational skills and attention to detailStrong communication and negotiation skillsAbility to work independently and as part of a teamFamiliarity with industry standards and regulationsPrior experience in the HVAC or construction industry is a plusHigh school diploma or equivalent required; advanced technical training or degree is an advantage
