This role evaluates contract terms tied to customer payments and supplier reimbursements, develops value-added financial reporting, identifies risks and opportunities, and ensures compliance with corporate accounting policies. The Accounting Manager also leads and develops a small accounting team, drives process improvements, and partners cross-functionally to support key initiatives and business priorities. This role is a key launching pad to growth within this dynamic companyWhat You'll Actually Do:Lead and support the month-end close, including reconciliations and reportingManage accounting for customer and supplier contracts, including rebatesMaintain SOX controls and ensure compliance with accounting policiesDevelop and improve accounting procedures and documentationLead, mentor, and coach a small accounting teamPartner cross-functionally to support accounting, forecasting, and operationsDrive process improvements and support special projects as neededTo Be Successful in This Role, You Will Need:Bachelor's degree in accounting required4+ years of corporate accounting experience to Senior or Manager/great opportunity for a Senior to make the leapLarge company experience highly preferredDemonstrated career progression through multiple promotions based on performanceHigh proficiency in Excel, including Pivot tables and VLOOKUPs, and working with large data setsStrong communication, problem solving and analytical aptitude needed1-2 years of supervisory or leadership experience a plus/ideally training and coachingWhere and How Much:Target Compensation $110K - $120K DOE+ 30% bonusWillingness to work onsite during onboarding (90 days), then four days per week in the DTC office, 1 day at home/strong flexibilityHealth, Dental & Vision | 401K w/up to 3.5% match | PTO + Sick and Personal days
