This role is ideal for educators who are committed to delivering rigorous, standards-aligned instruction and building strong foundational academic and social-emotional skills for students.AMS teachers are collaborative, culturally responsive, and dedicated to helping all scholars achieve at high levels.Key ResponsibilitiesInstruction & Student AchievementDeliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.Foster strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking.Collaboration & Professional DevelopmentParticipate in weekly professional development and grade-level collaboration meetings.Work closely with instructional leaders and colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.Family & Community EngagementCommunicate regularly with families regarding student progress and academic goals.Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.Scholar Culture & SupportImplement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support student behavior and social-emotional development.Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.Deliver rigorous, standards-aligned instruction using AMS curriculum and instructional frameworks.Differentiate instruction to support students performing above and below grade level.Use assessment data to monitor progress and adjust instruction to maximize student growth.Foster strong foundational skills in literacy, mathematics, and critical thinking.Collaboration & Professional DevelopmentParticipate in weekly professional development and grade-level collaboration meetings.Work closely with instructional leaders and colleagues to continuously improve teaching practices.Contribute to a culture of continuous improvement and academic excellence.Family & Community EngagementCommunicate regularly with families regarding student progress and academic goals.Lead parent-teacher conferences and maintain strong home-school partnerships.Scholar Culture & SupportImplement PBIS and preventative intervention strategies to support student behavior and social-emotional development.Create a structured, positive, and engaging classroom environment.Minimum Qualifications (Required)Must hold or be eligible to obtain a Nevada Department of Education (NDE) teaching license in a relevant subject area by the time of appointment.Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university.Ability to pass required state and federal background checks.Commitment to serving students in Title I and multilingual communities.Strong analytical skills and enthusiasm for data-driven instruction.Willingness to implement rigorous, standards-aligned curriculum within the AMS instructional framework.Preferred QualificationsTwo (2) or more years of direct K-12 teaching experience as a teacher of record.Experience working in Title I or high-need school settings.Experience differentiating instruction for multilingual learners.Strong classroom management and student engagement strategies.Experience collaborating within professional learning communities.Compensation & BenefitsAMS offers a competitive compensation and benefits package designed to support professional growth and long-term career success.Salary: $54,000 - $60,813 annually (based on years of K-12 teacher-of-record experience)Benefits include:Medical, dental, life, and disability insurance401(k) retirement plan with employer contributionsProfessional development and instructional coachingOpportunities for stipends through tutoring, intervention, and extracurricular leadership
