The successful manager will drive sales growth, operational excellence, and productivity improvements. Activities range from helping customers by phone or in person and working closely with our outside sales rep to pursue selling opportunities.Responsibilities Include The FollowingManaging end-to-end branch operations and sales initiatives, providing hands-on leadership for a 2-3-person teamDriving sales growth, customer acquisition and retention through personalized relationship managementCultivating long-term client loyalty by consistently delivering a high-level customer service experienceChampion customer engagement through all day-to-day sales procedures to include assisting customers by phone, email and in person (counter sales), order processing/returns, pricing/availability requests, quote/bid generation, non-stock quotes, technical/vendor support and moreCreate a proficient partnership with the Outside Sales Representative to pursue selling opportunitiesDevelop, maintain and leverage relationships with our manufacturer/vendor representatives within the territoryEfficient Inventory Control & Management for the territoryEnsure accurate warehouse and fulfillment operations to include all shipping, receiving, stocking and picking/packing ordersHiring, onboarding & training staff membersKey Working RelationshipsThe successful candidate will report to the Operations Manager.
