The Nurse Practitioner provides health care services to patients within scope of license, performs physical examinations and diagnostic tests, assessments and screenings, prescribes medications, and instructs patients and family members on medical conditions and treatment. Additionally, the Nurse Practitioner may have an area of specialty practice. Minimum Requirements:Current Nurse Practitioner Certification and license in the state of practice requiredCertification as a Nurse Practitioner by a nationally accredited nursing organization (e.g. American Academy of Nurse Practitioners - AANP, American Nurses Credentialing Center - ANCC) is preferredSpecialty Certification as per client request and or state regulations if applicableOne year experience as an NP preferredMaintain collaboration agreements, per state requirementsCurrent CPR if applicableTB questionnaire, PPD or chest x-ray if applicableCurrent Health certificate (per contract or state regulation)Must meet all federal, state and local requirementsMust be at least 18 years of ageNP Requirements:Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner programClinical Experience: Preferred: 2 years of recent experience in the specialty. New Grads may be accepted depending on site needs.License: Active unrestricted TN RN License, TN NP License, TN DEA License w/ TN address & Prescriptive AuthorityBoard Certification: Active certification through AANP/ANCCMerit Badge: ACLS, PALSImmunizations: Documentation of MMR/Varicella (2) vaccines or titers with values indicating immunity for MMR & Varicella. Two-Step TB Test within the past 12 months (a 2nd TB Test will need to be completed prior to activation of privileges). If TB Test is positive, Chest X-ray is required within the last 3 months. TB QuantiFERON Gold test result indicating immunity (if taken within the last three months of privileges being granted, a 2nd TB Test will not be required).Case Log: Documentation of case logs for past 2 years.CME/CEU: Preeclampsia-Eclampsia CME required during initial application and every two years for reappointmentsSpecific Facility Procedures: N/AMalpractice Coverage: $1M Per Loss Event/3M Annual Aggregate CoverageAdditional Details: N/A"MUST HAVE TN LICENSE, DEA, CDSPA requirements:Education/Training: Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant programClinical Experience: Preferred: 2 years of recent experience in the specialty.
