With over 300 dedicated employees and a reputation for excellence, we offer a dynamic environment focused on developing new products, fostering professional growth, and shaping the future of technology.As a Material Handler, you will perform all duties related to shipping, receiving, inspecting, storing, issuing and delivering materials, equipment, and supplies.Hours: 8:00 am – 4:30 pm, Monday - FridayWhat You’ll Do At Tosoh Quartz.Examine incoming shipments for damage and quantities and communicate with Purchasing to rectify issues. Review incoming and outgoing items to compare identifying information and verify against bills of lading, invoices, orders, or other records. Enter incoming and outgoing shipment information into the computer. Determine method of shipment utilizing knowledge of shipping procedures, routes and rates; prepare materials for shipping by weighing, packaging and stamping; prepare necessary shipping forms such as bills of lading. Operate material handling equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, hand trucks or dollies to move stock or reorganize storage. Secure cargo properly and safely with weight evenly distributed for transport. Who You Are.High school diploma or equivalent1+ years of experience in a similar roleDemonstrated ability to organize merchandise efficiently. Knowledge of computerized shipping systems and record keeping practices. Ability to work safely in a warehouse environmentAbility to lift and move heavy packages and objects in a safe manner. Ability to communicate professionallyExperience using material handling equipment in a safe manner.
