Details High-risk OB unit in a teaching hospital setting Labor & Delivery department serving a high-volume unit with approximately 200–300 births per month Night shift schedule: 3x12-hour shifts (7:00 PM – 7:00 AM) Weekend work required as needed On-call required as needed Float requirement to the Mother/Baby unit Hospital-provided scrubs Epic EMR used (experience required) Requirements Active Louisiana (LA) or Compact RN license currently in hand Required certifications: BLS, ACLS, NRP, AWHONN Intermediate Fetal Monitoring, and FHM Minimum 2 years of L&D nursing experience required Teaching hospital experience required Epic EMR experience required Supervisory reference dated within the last 12 months required for consideration Copy of Driver's License required for consideration Work history with any gaps of more than 30 days must be explained Additional Information Candidates must reside more than 75 miles from the facility to qualify for travel pay rates RTO is limited to 5 days or fewer for the duration of the contract Former permanent employees of any LCMC facility must have been separated for at least 1 year to be eligible for this travel assignment American Traveler Job ID P-691308.
