AML/Compliance Specialist

We are a Lithuania-based Electronic Money Institution licensed by the Bank of Lithuania, serving both businesses and individuals, primarily across the EU and beyond.Our platform offers a wide range of services, including dedicated IBAN accounts, payment processing, currency exchange, and local and international transfers (SEPA and SWIFT). Clients can manage their finances through a smart, intuitive dashboard available on desktops and mobile apps for iOS and Android.Genome is looking for an AML/Compliance Specialist!Key ResponsibilitiesReal-time review of client transactions (transaction screening).Retrospective review and assessment of client transactions (transaction monitoring).Communication with clients for additional information and/or document submission, verification, and assessment of provided information and documents, and recording in systems.Independent collection, evaluation, and recording of documents and data required for proper ongoing due diligence and assessment of clients’ operations.Conducting internal client activity investigations, systematic documentation, writing conclusions, and recommendations.Reporting of suspicious financial transactions/client activities (STRs/SARs) to the local FIU.Communication with law enforcement and other institutions, and the sending of official correspondence.Skills & Experience2+ years of experience in transaction monitoring and screening.Solid foundational knowledge of financial crimes, including money laundering, terrorist financing, fraud, and sanctions evasion.Basic knowledge of AML legislation relevant to Lithuanian FMPs.Fluent in spoken Lithuanian and English.
