SEEKING RN'S FOR PEDIATRIC ICU/IN-HOME (Woodstock)

RNs $47 - $50/HOUR BASED ON YEARS OF PEDIATRIC NURSING EXPERIENCE. 1099 INDEPENDENT CONTRACTOR TITLE: RN LOCATIONS: Woodstock FULLTIME/PART-TIME: Full-Time/Part-time/Contract SHIFT: Flexible, depending on availability HOURS: Monday - Sunday, flexible hours Position REQUIREMENTS: CRITICAL CARE EXP REQUIRED (Vents, gj-tubes, cvl's, seizure protocols, severe asthma) Must hold current licensure as an RN in the state of Georgia Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Nursing and health care administration skills Caring and compassionate personality Ability to build rapport with patients & their family Can pick multiple locations Position PREFERRED: Pediatrics We are looking for a reliable RN to care for a child in a professional and considerate manner. Nurse professional must be first and foremost qualified and compassionate. The ideal candidate will be experienced in providing diverse basic care while remaining patient and calm. It is a demanding job but also very rewarding. Responsibilities Uses clinical knowledge and critical thinking skills to triages patient/family calls and determine appropriate interventions. Completes assigned visits when working during office hours. Provides patient and/or caregiver with appropriate instructions to support safe care of the patient in the home. Accurately and timely documents nursing assessment/interventions and other patient/family contacts according to agency policy in the electronic medical record. Updates the patient plan of care as appropriate. Documentation should be complete at the end each day. Obtains completed consent forms and completes immediate needs assessment as needed to meet agency need. Remains easily accessible by phone and is available during period of on-call. Maintains confidentiality of patients and their families, co-workers, volunteers, and the organization at all times. Adheres to the organization’s Standards of Conduct and HIPAA regulations. Reports any potential misconduct or violation of the organization’s Standards of Conduct, HIPAA regulations, or federal or state laws and regulations. Skills Must be skilled in trach maintenance and possible ventilator experience. Proven experience as RN or similar role. Ability to undertake a variety of diverse care tasks. Understanding of confidentiality obligations and nursing best practices. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
