The ideal candidate will have experience in public assistance eligibility determination, interactive interviewing, and case documentation and a proven ability to assess applicant information accurately, verify supporting documents, and render timely eligibility decisions.Responsibilities:Review applications for public assistance programs for completeness and accuracy.Conduct interactive interviews to gather facts and clarify eligibility information.Verify applicant data and documentation against program requirements and systems.Make eligibility determinations and document decisions according to policy.Follow up with applicants as needed to obtain missing or corrected information.Maintain accurate case records and adhere to confidentiality standards.Required Skills & Qualifications:Proficiency in case management, data entry, and document verification.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail.Clear written and verbal communication abilities for applicant interactions.Ability to work onsite and complete an in-person training program of approximately 7 weeks.Preferred Skills:Experience with public assistance programs, policies, and eligibility guidelines.Familiarity with government eligibility systems and call or interview workflows.Why BCforward?At BCforward, we believe in advancing lives and careers.
