Freight Broker (Remote)

We are seeking to hire new members to our team. The ideal candidates will have a team personality, the ability to multitask in a fast-paced industry, and strong communication skills to grow and sustain business relationships with customers and carriers. This position comes with a base salary along with an outstanding commission, and excellent earnings potential. Day-to-Day Functions of the Position: Facilitate new customer and carrier opportunities by carrying out prospective calls and emails Utilize our TMS system for order building and planning, carrier monitoring, and customer relationship management Function as the single point of contact between customers and carriers as the product moves across the supply chain Communicate proactively and quickly with customers, carriers, shippers, receivers, scheduling contacts, etc. to assure proper movement of the product and on-time pick-up and delivery is met Develop and maintain knowledge of current market conditions and key economic indicators to have the ability to negotiate properly with customers and carriers Education and Experience Requirements: 2-3 years prior Transportation/Logistics industry experience preferred; customer service, sales, or operations experience will be taken into consideration Freight broker experience Strong customer service, communication, and collaboration skills Ability to balance multiple tasks at once and schedule your time accordingly A sales-oriented individual with the motivation to make several outreaches via emails and calls each day Knowledge of computer applications such as Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint, Email, Zoom, and websites The ability to multi-task in a fast-paced & high-volume shipping office is a must.
