Serving Maryland and the Greater Washington D.C. area, SageCor Solutions (SageCor) is a growing company bringing complete engineering services and true full lifecycle System Engineering services to areas requiring (or desiring) nationally-recognized expertise in high performance computing, large data analytics and cutting edge information technologies.Active TS/SCI W/ Polygraph Required.Required Experience:Bachelor’s degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relateddiscipline from an accredited college or university, plus seven (7) years of experience asan HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORMaster’s degree in Math, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or relateddiscipline from an accredited college or university, plus five (5) years of experience asan HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope, type, and complexity.ORNine (9) years of experience as an HSE in programs and contracts of similar scope,type, and complexity.Required Skills: Design, document and execute tests of FOSS, COTS and GOTS softwarearchitectures to determine what aspects of the software and/or computerinfrastructure are limiting performance. Research and identify metrics necessary to understand performance limitationsof the software and/or computer infrastructure to support testing. Research and identify monitoring necessary to support timely alerting ofinfrastructure and software failures encountered during testing. Identify hardware and software failure trends and develop mitigationsencountered during testing. Perform root cause analysis. Work with the customer metrics and monitoring team to introduce new metricscapabilities to support testing. Modify the software architecture and/or develop new software capabilities toovercome performance limitations encountered during testing. Experience with the distributed computing FOSS software frameworks below isbeneficial. Apache Spark, Dask, Ray Experience developing software in the languages below is beneficial.
