This role focuses on backend and frontend software components that enable monitoring, control, data acquisition, and integration between switchgear hardware, internal systems, and third‑party platforms. The developer will be a key contributor within the Technology Innovation group, collaborating with engineering, operations, and customer support teams to deliver reliable, secure, and high‑performance industrial software solutions.Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.Design, develop, and maintain software interfaces for switchgear and power distribution systems, including data visualization, control, and status monitoringDevelop server‑side logic and RESTful APIs using JavaScript/TypeScript to enable communication between switchgear devices, databases, and web‑based applicationsCreate scripts and services that manage real‑time and historical data exchange between switchgear hardware, servers, and end usersDefine and maintain centralized database structures that consolidate data from switchgear systems installed across multiple locationsDevelop responsive and high‑performance user interfaces focused on usability, reliability, and industrial UI/UX best practicesSupport integration with third‑party systems, including ERP, asset management, and monitoring platformsPerform other duties as assignedSupervisory Responsibilities This job has no supervisory responsibilities.Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
