Senior Equipment Technician

Valtir is currently looking to hire a Senior Equipment Technician team member for our Fort Worth, TX plant. Our products are specified, sold, and installed throughout North America and in more than 100 international markets. As a Senior Equipment Technician, you’ll perform preventive maintenance and electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic repairs to production and electrical mechanical equipment, machinery, and components. Location: Ft. Worth, TX Starting rate $23-$35 per hour! Full-time: M-F, 6am to 2:30pm; (shift change from 11:30a to 10pm after Jan. 2025) What you will do: Perform complex repairs on production equipment motors and mechanical components, including basic pneumatics and hydraulics Read schematics - pneumatic, hydraulic, electrical Troubleshoot electrical problems Perform preventive maintenance and testing on electrical wiring and components Cut, weld, and fabricate Follow all safety rules and practices May be involved in safety committees or initiatives Perform other duties as assigned What you’ll need: High school diploma or GED equivalent Minimum of 2 years of experience Competitive Benefits & Programs: In addition to a thriving workplace environment, a comprehensive benefits package is provided for our employees including: Medical and Health Savings Account.
