Team Leader
Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated leader to oversee the service in our restaurant. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the food industry, exceptional leadership skills, and a passion for providing excellent customer service. As a service leader, you will be responsible for ensuring excellent customer service, running customer facing processes, and maintaining high standards of food service.
Duties:
Supervise and coordinate restaurant activities, including customer service and front of house operations
Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations
Train and develop staff members on proper food handling procedures
Handle customer inquiries, complaints, and resolve any issues that may arise
Implement strategies to increase restaurant sales and profitability
Maintain a clean and organized restaurant environment
Monitor and maintain cleanliness and organization in the dining area, including tables, counters, and serving stations.
Handle customer inquiries, feedback, and complaints promptly and professionally, striving to resolve issues to the customer's satisfaction.
Oversee cash handling procedures, including cash register reconciliation and deposits.
Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement strategies for improving guest satisfaction and increasing sales.
Ability to properly lift, pull, and/or push up to 50 lbs.
Experience:
Previous experience in a supervisory or managerial role within the food industry or hospitality management
Strong knowledge of food production processes and techniques
Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and inspire employees
Proven track record in providing exceptional customer service
Ability to handle high-pressure situations and make quick decisions
Skills:
Leadership: Strong leadership skills to inspire and motivate employees towards achieving goals.
Food Industry: In-depth knowledge of the food industry including food safety regulations, trends, and best practices.
Hospitality Management: Understanding of hospitality management principles including customer service, guest satisfaction, and employee training.
Food Handling: Proficient in proper food handling techniques to ensure safety and sanitation standards are met.
Team Management: Ability to build and lead a cohesive team, provide guidance and support, and foster a positive work environment.
Inventory Control: Proficient in inventory management systems, conducting regular stock checks, and optimizing inventory levels.
Customer Service: Strong customer service skills to handle inquiries, complaints, and ensure customer satisfaction.
