We are seeking a skilled Plastic Surgeon for an impactful 36-day assignment in North Carolina, starting Jul 10, 2026. This inpatient-only role requires expertise in reconstructive plastic surgery, including trauma of the upper and lower extremities, hand surgery, and craniofacial trauma, alongside general plastic surgery. The schedule involves 24-hour shifts, supported by a strong surgical team. Responsibilities and Duties Provide inpatient-only care Actively practice reconstructive plastic surgery, specifically relating to trauma of the upper and lower extremities, hand surgery, and craniofacial trauma Perform general plastic surgery procedures Manage complex facial trauma reconstruction, both soft tissue and skeletal (full face upper, mid face, and mandible, coverage of cranial defects), for both adult and pediatric patients Handle complex upper extremity trauma reconstruction including soft tissue (tendon, peripheral nerve, and vascular below the elbow, and burns) and skeletal, for both adult and pediatric patients Perform complex lower extremity soft tissue reconstruction for adult and pediatric patients Provide general plastic and reconstructive surgery, breast, and body procedures Benefit from strong OR and specialist support (trauma, neurosurgery, general surgery, etc.) No ICU duties Will not respond to codes Additional Information Board Certifications: Plastic Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery EMR: Epic Benefits Strong compensation Travel-related expenses covered A-rated medical malpractice insurance provided Dedicated recruiter for future travel opportunities What are Locum Tenens Jobs?
