Compensation ConsultantThe Compensation Consultant handles the creation, rollout, and management of compensation programs, tools, and services for specific client groups. This role also partners with OTM Business Partners and leadership to tackle compensation-related challenges, delivering solutions that fit within approved strategies and support overall business goals.Key Responsibilities:Acts as the primary compensation expert and go-to contact, offering strategic advice, leadership, and support on wide-ranging compensation topics, projects, and efforts in assigned areas. Collaborates closely with OTM Business Partners, executives, Finance teams, and others to drive strong results.Designs, leads, and carries out cross-functional compensation projects that involve analyzing elements spanning multiple departments and affecting various business units.Suggests, runs, and manages salary benchmarking surveys to gauge competitive pay practices across the organization.Performs job evaluations, keeping job descriptions up-to-date, thorough, and precise.Analyzes roles and assigns suitable salary grades or market rates based on established guidelines.Ensures uniform application of all compensation initiatives through audits, reviews, and reporting, staying compliant with internal policies and laws like wage/hour rules, minimum wage, FLSA, and other federal/state regulations.Investigates industry best practices and crafts forward-thinking strategies to solve compensation issues in focus areas, such as revamping current programs, launching new ones, or delivering targeted analyses with actionable insights.Builds and updates materials for career progression and promotions.Creates data models, statistical reports, and analytics for leadership decision-making.Tracks performance of compensation policies and procedures, proposing updates or innovative options aligned with market trends.Mentors and trains entry-level staff, handling escalations for intricate compensation matters.Drives toward operational, functional, and business goals that directly influence team performance.Upholds strict confidentiality and takes on additional tasks as needed.Benefits Package:Medical coverageDental coverageVision coverageLife insuranceDisability insuranceFlexible spending accountsAnd additional perks!Submission Guidelines4+ years in Compensation and HR roles – [REQUIRED]Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, Accounting, or equivalent – [REQUIRED]Workday expertise – [REQUIRED]Certified Compensation Professional (CCP) from WorldatWork – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]Healthcare sector experience – [HIGHLY PREFERRED]
