RN - Oncology About Facility: Outpatient Clinic Address: 100 Medical Park Dr., Suite 100, Concord, NC 20 Exam Rooms, 10 Physicians, 4 APPs Radius rule: Traveler's permanent address must be 50 miles outside of home unit Department Information: 20 Rooms beds for Hematology/Oncology Avg daily census depends on provider 12-16 patients seen daily Required Experience: Oncology RN at least 1 year; 2+ years preferred Highly preferred Clinic experience; will consider acute care with strong experience Will you accept a first-time traveler? Yes Patient Types/Common Diagnoses: Current need will support General Oncology any type of solid tumor, anemias Clinic also has Specialized Physicians who will see and treat benign and malignant cancers Required License, National Certification, Certs (BLS, ACLS, etc.), or other position specific requirements such as Driver's License and/or Insurance: RN: BLS required OCN certification (preferred) Skills required: EPIC experience (highly preferred); port access, peripheral blood draws General Assessment/Triage skills are needed for success Understanding of how to utilize messaging within EPIC Support within the Department: Charge RN daily Clinical Supervisor Latoria will make rounds Technology/Equipment: EMR: EPIC Omnicell (Infusion side) Floating: None only at Concord Orientation (facility and unit): 1-3 weeks, depending on experience and including shadowing Scheduling: Monday-Friday 8a-5p Weekend rotation: none No call Holiday Expectations: none RTO: Manager approval Schedule cycle: 4-week cycle Other notes: Scrub Color: Navy Blue Parking: Visitor Parking Deck You'll never receive recurrent notifications, aggressive phone calls, or overbearing messages from us.
