Job Posting: Full-Time Dental Assistant Location: Li'l Sunshine Smiles Dentistry, Tampa, FL (Westchase neighborhood) Position Type: Full-Time Salary: $17 to $19 per hour (negotiable based on experience) Start Date: Immediate Hire Li'l Sunshine Smiles Dentistry is seeking a qualified and motivated Full-Time Dental Assistant who enjoys working with children to join our strong family culture. We are a pediatric dental office in the heart of the Westchase neighborhood in Tampa, FL, and we're looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and eagerness to learn. Key Responsibilities: Work effectively as part of a team with a positive attitude. Take digital x-rays (experience with children’s x-rays is a must). Perform prophies (cleanings). Utilize Dentrix software (minimum 1-year experience required). Assist chair-side with restorative treatments. Manage sterilization procedures. Communicate effectively with children and their parents. Confirm appointments and handle patient interactions. Qualifications: A minimum of 1 year of dental experience. X-ray certification and Expanded Function Certificate required. Proficient in basic computer skills. Demonstrates professionalism, compassion, and integrity. Passion for working with children and ability to engage with both children and parents. Ability to learn and troubleshoot new software and tasks with a positive approach. Team player with strong communication and social skills. Professional in performance, attire, and demeanor.
