Director, Infrastructure Operations

Key Responsibilities" Lead the Server Operations team across global regions providing 24/7 coverage for production, UAT, and development environments" Own the availability, performance, security, and cost efficiency of production infrastructure across hybrid environments" Manage the full lifecycle of hybrid compute environments across AWS, Azure, and on premises infrastructure" Serve as senior escalation point for critical production incidents and drive root cause analysis to resolution" Lead cloud and data center infrastructure operations including AWS services, server lifecycle management, and cost optimization programs" Drive infrastructure modernization, cloud migration initiatives, and operational excellence programs" Own security and compliance initiatives including privileged access reviews, vulnerability remediation, and audit readiness" Oversee observability and monitoring platforms including LogicMonitor and Splunk to ensure system reliability and reduce alert noise" Lead infrastructure automation initiatives leveraging tools such as Ansible and cloud based automation solutions" Manage vendor relationships for infrastructure tooling and platforms" Build, mentor, and develop a high performing global infrastructure operations team" Provide reporting on infrastructure health, capacity, cost savings, and operational KPIs to senior leadershipDay to Day Responsibilities" Oversee on call escalation programs, incident response processes, and runbook development" Coordinate and execute production maintenance windows with cross functional teams" Manage AWS infrastructure including EC2 lifecycle, VPC architecture, VPN health, and storage policies" Oversee server provisioning, decommissioning, and lifecycle management processes" Drive infrastructure rightsizing and resource optimization across environments" Partner with InfoSec to implement security hardening and compliance initiatives" Conduct access reviews and maintain asset inventory for audit readiness" Ensure adherence to change management processes and approvals through ITSM systems" Manage monitoring platforms including alert configurations and log ingestion pipelines" Reduce alert noise through continuous monitoring improvements" Support cloud migration programs including infrastructure discovery and planning" Collaborate with Platform Engineering and DevOps on Kubernetes, CI CD, and infrastructure services" Coordinate infrastructure support for production releases and application rolloutsPreferred Experience and Attributes" Experience in infrastructure or server operations with leadership responsibilities" Experience managing hybrid infrastructure environments including AWS, Azure, and on premises systems" Strong knowledge of AWS services including EC2, VPC, S3, IAM, and monitoring tools" Experience with VMware environments, Windows Server, Linux, Active Directory, and DNS" Experience managing data center operations including storage systems and server hardware lifecycle" Proven experience leading cloud migration initiatives and infrastructure modernization efforts" Experience with monitoring and observability platforms such as LogicMonitor and Splunk" Familiarity with ITSM and change management tools" Strong understanding of security compliance, access management, and vulnerability remediation" Experience managing globally distributed teams" Experience in financial services or fintech environments is preferred" Experience with infrastructure as code and automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, or CloudFormation" Experience with cloud cost optimization and FinOps practices" Experience with enterprise infrastructure platforms and database environments
