Position: Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Coordinator  Department: Goodman psychological Services Center Location: Miami Campus  Albizu University is a higher education institution committed to academic excellence, mental health training, and service to diverse communities, integrity, compliance and continuous improvement. MAIN FUNCTION The Licensed Clinical Psychologist and Clinical Coordinator direct clinical service, clinical supervision, and leadership of clinic operations, quality of care, and clinical systems. The clinic serves as a primary training site for doctoral students enrolled in the APA-accredited PsyD in Clinical Psychology and Internship Programs.    REQUIREMENTS: Clinical Psychology Ph.D. or Psy.D. degree from an APA-accredited program.  Current, unrestricted Florida psychologist license (or ability to transfer via endorsement). Knowledge and experience with the Florida Mental Health Act, commonly referred to as the Baker Act. Pass a background clearance check.  Excellent collaboration and communication skills, with the ability to foster a positive learning environment. Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multi-modality environment.   ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Clinical Leadership & Coordination Provide evidence-based psychological assessment, diagnosis, treatment planning, and intervention. Oversee clinical operations and service delivery workflows across programs and teams. Monitor and evaluate clinical quality indicators (e.g., caseload distribution, treatment outcomes, access to care). Provide case consultation to enhance clinical decision-making and quality of care.   Supervision & Training Provide individual and group clinical supervision to licensed and supervised trainees. Facilitate training, professional development, and competency-based growth for clinical staff. Conduct ongoing evaluation of practicum students’ performance; use outcome and performance data to adjust caseloads, assignments, and supervision to optimize quality of care and productivity. Program Administration Develop, implement, and maintain clinical policies, procedures, and documentation standards. Coordinate interdisciplinary case reviews and treatment planning meetings. Ensure compliance with regulatory, ethical, accreditation, and payer requirements, including documentation and billing standards. Quality Assurance & Improvement Conduct chart reviews, clinical audits, and documentation reviews to ensure accuracy, completeness, and clinical appropriateness. Lead continuous quality improvement initiatives, including outcomes tracking and service enhancements. Communicate clinical, administrative, and program expectations to supervisees and ensure adherence to state and federal mandates. Provide ongoing training to support high-quality clinical documentation. Collaboration & Communication Collaborate with executive leadership on clinical strategy, staffing, and operational needs. Represent the clinic in organizational planning and stakeholder meetings. Maintain relationships with referral sources and community partners. Review and manage caseload assignments with supervisees on a regular basis to ensure continuity of care and balanced workloads. Vacation Leave: Accumulation of 11.25 hours per month for employees who work 120 hours or more. Sick Leave: Accumulation of 11.25 hours per month for employees who work 120 hours or more. Certain benefits begin on the first day of the month following 90 days of employment, subject to plan terms and eligibility requirements: Medical Insurance: participation in the group medical plan; the institution contributes $3,600.00 annually to the insurance premium.  Retirement Plan: Employer contribution of 5% of annual base salary.  Life Insurance: Coverage equal to two (2) times the annual base salary; Optional supplemental coverage available.  Short- and long-term disability insurance.
