With a focus on supporting each child's growth and development, Pediatric Therapy Specialists, Inc. is dedicated to achieving meaningful outcomes for children and their families.Role Description This is a full-time, on-site Pediatric Physical Therapist role based in Arcadia, CA. The role involves assessing, diagnosing, and creating evidence-based treatment plans for children with physical disabilities or developmental delays. The therapist will work directly with patients in both clinical and home settings, collaborate with caregivers, and consult with school staff to ensure IEP goal achievement. Responsibilities also include using and recommending appropriate durable medical and adaptive equipment to support patient progress.Qualifications· A Master's or Doctorate of Physical Therapy for PT’s or AS Degree for PTA’s· Experience in a supervised pediatric internship is advantageous and recommended.· A California state license to practice physical therapy or practice as a physical therapy assistant.· The ability to work on some evenings.· The ability to handle stress and pressure.· The ability to be flexible.· Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.· Attention to detail, patience, and empathy. . Manual dexterity and physical endurance to lift patients and equipment.
