This opportunity is with a well-established general contractor specializing in al commercial projects, offering a clear path into senior field leadership and long-term operational roles. The Superintendent will play a critical role in leading on-site construction activities, ensuring projects are delivered safely, on time, and to the highest quality standards—often within active or occupied school environments.Role Highlights:Leadership-focused position with direct responsibility for field operations on education projects.Strong emphasis on safety, quality, scheduling, and subcontractor coordination.Clear growth path into Senior Superintendent and field leadership roles.$10m - $40m projectsKey Responsibilities:Lead all on-site construction activities from preconstruction through closeout.Develop and manage project schedules, including short-interval planning and daily coordination.Oversee subcontractors and trades to ensure alignment with project plans, specifications, and timelines.Enforce strict safety standards and maintain compliance with OSHA regulations and company policies.Coordinate closely with Project Managers, Project Engineers, and clients to ensure seamless execution.Manage site logistics, inspections, quality control, and punch list completion.Navigate challenges associated with occupied campuses, including phasing, safety, and minimal disruption to school operations.Drive accountability for productivity, workmanship, and schedule adherence.Required Background:8+ years of construction experience with a strong focus on field leadership.Proven experience as a Superintendent or Lead Superintendent on ground-up or major renovation projects ($20M+), ideally within commercial Deep understanding of construction means and methods, sequencing, and scheduling.Strong knowledge of safety practices and OSHA standards.Experience managing subcontractors, site logistics, and complex project phasing.Excellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
