Litigation Associate – Data Privacy & Complex LitigationOur client, a nationally recognized plaintiff-side litigation firm, is seeking an Associate Attorney to join its San Francisco office, with a particular focus on data privacy and complex class action litigation.This is an exceptional opportunity for an attorney who wants substantial responsibility early in their career and the chance to work on high-impact litigation. Associates play significant roles in all phases of cases and work closely with clients, experts, and senior litigators on sophisticated matters with nationwide significance.ResponsibilitiesParticipate in all phases of complex litigation, with an emphasis on data privacy matters and class actionInvestigate potential claims and assist with case development and strategyWork directly with clients and maintain ongoing client relationshipsTake and defend depositionsDraft and argue motions and other substantive filingsConduct legal research and prepare briefs at both trial and appellate levelsCollaborate with expert witnesses and consultantsParticipate in mediations, settlement negotiations, and trial preparationAssist with trial proceedings and other case-related advocacy effortsQualificationsJ.D. from an accredited law schoolStrong interest in complex litigation and data privacy mattersExcellent legal research, writing, and analytical skillsStrong oral advocacy and communication abilitiesAbility to manage significant responsibilities and work collaboratively within a team environmentStrong attention to detail and commitment to high-quality legal workPreferred ExperiencePrior litigation experience, including motion practice and discoveryExperience or demonstrated interest in:Data privacy litigationConsumer protection mattersClass action litigationComplex commercial or public-interest litigationWhy This OpportunityOur client offers attorneys the opportunity to take on meaningful litigation responsibilities and work on precedent-setting cases.
