Senior Project Manager – Building Design
Atlas Connections has partnered with a well-established, full-service architecture and engineering firm to identify a Senior Project Manager for their Building Design group. This team specializes in delivering multi-discipline building design projects across biotech, pharmaceutical, nutritional, industrial, mission critical, and other regulated and high-impact environments. They serve many of the top names in the industry as an integrated team of architects, engineers, commissioning specialists, and project managers.This is a hybrid role based out of either the Broomfield, CO or Lenexa, KS office with occasional overnight travel.What You'll DoManage key client relationships, including account maintenance, business development, and marketing program supportLead multi-discipline building design project teams across architecture, engineering, commissioning, and project controlsDevelop long-term and short-term project plans, set milestones, and hold the team accountable to deadlinesIdentify and resolve issues affecting project performance, scope, schedule, and costLead cross-disciplinary meetings with internal teams, stakeholders, and clientsDelegate tasks effectively and ensure synergy across multiple project unitsProvide innovative solutions throughout design, construction, startup, and Commissioning/Qualification/ValidationPerform ongoing quality control to maintain client and firm standardsPresent project updates to executive leadership and steering committees on both sidesMentor and develop internal staff on project management fundamentalsContribute to the development of standardized project management processesWhat You BringBachelor's degree in Engineering, Architecture, Construction Management, or related field10+ years of experience managing multi-discipline building design projects and project teams, ideally in biotech, pharmaceutical, nutritional, industrial, mission critical, or other relevant settingsPMP certification preferred but not requiredProven track record leading high-impact engineering, regulatory, or construction projectsExperience directly or indirectly supervising staff with increasing responsibilityWorking understanding of pharmaceutical cGMP, cGLP, and cQMS is a plus but not requiredStrong verbal and written communication skills with the ability to build relationships across technical and executive audiencesSelf-starter who thrives in a fast-paced, results-oriented environmentValid driver's license and acceptable driving recordAbility to travel occasionally overnight
