Job Title: Maintenance Technician- 1st, 2nd and 3rd Shift positionsDepartment: ND PackagingReports to: Continuous Improvement ManagerLocation: Sturtevant, WIPosition Summary: This position keeps the box plant running by reducing unplanned downtime, improving equipment reliability, and supporting production throughput. The role ensures maintenance work is completed safely, on time, and done right the first time, while helping prevent repeat failures and maintaining quality standards across all equipment.Compensation The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will be based on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge/skills, experience, geographical location, and internal equity. Performs all tasks safely and follows all safety procedures without fail.Follow all safety and company policies and procedures including maintaining good housekeeping, reporting any issues, accidents or incidents immediately; must complete online safety training each month as assigned. Understand, execute flawless and abide by all safety policies, practices and procedures. Comprehension of equipment technical documents, including but not limited to construction drawings, shop drawings, blueprints, plans, schematics and specifications.Troubleshoot and repair programmable logic controllers (PLCs), A/C and D/C drives and the corresponding control systems.Ability to use maintenance software programs.Perform regular maintenance such as lubrication, cleaning and preventative tasks.Perform buildings and grounds maintenance, such as fire systems, HVAC, emergency light, etc.Perform and assist in project work.Train other team members to be capable of troubleshooting issues with equipment.Able to move materials, equipment and parts using various equipment (forklifts, hand carts, winches, hoists, scissor lifts, etc.)Capable of identifying an issue’s root cause(s) and then collaborates with the team to ensure issues are resolved in a timely and cost-effective manner. Identify, order and communicate equipment, supplies and parts requirements. Ensure equipment is maintained in order to operate at OEM speeds and optimal uptime.Thoroughly completes all documentation and paperwork.
