Chief Financial Officer - Real Estate A privately held, vertically integrated real estate development and capital platform is seeking a Chief Financial Officer to lead all finance and accounting functions across a rapidly growing multibillion-dollar enterprise spanning real estate development, private credit, EB-5, construction, and captive insurance.The CFO will serve as a strategic partner to the CEO and executive team, overseeing accounting, FP&A, treasury, tax, audit, investor reporting, and financial systems infrastructure while building and scaling a high-performing finance organization.Responsibilities:Lead enterprise-wide finance, accounting, reporting, treasury, tax, and audit functionsBuild and scale the finance organization across Controller, FP&A, Fund Accounting, Treasury, and TaxOversee consolidated GAAP reporting, multi-entity consolidations, partnership accounting, and waterfall structuresDrive budgeting, forecasting, cash management, liquidity planning, and management reportingPartner with executive leadership on capital allocation, growth initiatives, and strategic decision-makingLead investor and lender financial reporting across LPs, JV partners, lenders, and EB-5 stakeholdersImplement institutional-grade financial systems, controls, and reporting infrastructureQualifications:Active CPA required10+ years of progressive finance leadership experience within real estate development, REITs, private equity, or family office environmentsStrong background in multi-entity consolidations, partnership accounting, and institutional reporting environmentsReal estate development and construction accounting experienceExperience building and leading high-performing finance teamsBig Four foundation and public-company or institutionally audited experience preferredEntrepreneurial, hands-on and combine technical rigor with strategic leadership in fast-paced, high-growth environments.Strong technical proficiency in AI tools such as Claude, etc.Preferred:Experience with EB-5 fund structures and compliance reportingPrivate credit, debt, and preferred equity structuresCaptive insurance accounting exposure
