Duties Greet guests warmly upon arrival, providing attentive and personalized service throughout their visit Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems such as Aloha POS, Micros POS, or OpenTable, ensuring clear communication with the kitchen and bar staff Upsell menu items and specials to enhance guest experience and maximize sales opportunities Serve food and drinks promptly while maintaining high standards of food handling, sanitation, and presentation Assist with bussing tables, cleaning, and resetting dining areas to ensure a clean and inviting environment Manage cash handling responsibilities accurately, including cashiering duties and processing payments efficiently Support guest relations by addressing questions or concerns promptly, ensuring a positive dining experience at all times Qualifications Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, particularly in fine dining or nightlife settings such as nightclubs or upscale restaurants Familiarity with POS systems including Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms; experience with OpenTable is a plus Strong knowledge of food safety standards, sanitation practices, and proper food handling procedures Excellent customer service skills with the ability to engage guests warmly and professionally Ability to manage time effectively during busy service periods while maintaining attention to detail Basic math skills for cash handling, billing, and order accuracy Previous experience in serving roles such as host/hostess or bartender is advantageous Culinary experience or kitchen familiarity is beneficial but not required; enthusiasm for learning about food preparation is valued Join us to be part of a lively team that thrives on delivering exceptional hospitality!
