This role sits at the center of product development — working with engineering to define what gets built, and with sales, customers, and partners to make sure it solves real problems in the real world.ResponsibilitiesOwn the hardware products roadmap and lifecycle, from concept through launch and beyondDefine product requirements and write PRDs that engineering teams can build againstEngage directly with customers, channel partners, and sales teams to understand real-world use cases and identify opportunities for the next productPartner with engineering to evaluate technical approaches and make trade-off decisions across cost, performance, and scheduleDrive cross-functional coordination across engineering, supply chain, and project management to keep programs on trackDistill product value propositions and selling points for sales and marketing teamsWhat You'll BringBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or related field preferredHands-on experience bringing consumer electronics products from concept to marketStrong engineering fundamentals — you think from first principles, not from templates. You can dive into a schematic, challenge an architecture decision, and have a real technical conversation with engineersProven ability to work side-by-side with engineers to break down and solve complex technical problemsAbility to identify what users actually need — cut through surface requests, find the real problem, and translate it into product design decisionsA self-starter who takes ownership and drives outcomes with minimal oversightActively uses AI tools in daily workflows to accelerate research, analysis, and decision-makingFluent in English and Chinese (Mandarin), written and spokenNice To HaveExperience with audio, video, or acoustics productsFamiliarity with meeting room solutions or the UC&C industryUnderstanding of platform certification requirements (Microsoft Teams Rooms, Zoom Rooms)Experience working with teams across the US and ChinaExposure to embedded systems or Android-based device platforms
