Controller/CFO

Well-established, private family office with real estate holdings is seeking a hands-on Controller/CFO to oversee day-to-day accounting and financial operations.What you’ll do:Own full-cycle accounting + financial reporting for family office + related entitiesOversee cash management, banking, and liquidity planningManage financials across real estate portfolio (including capex, leases, and property-level reporting)Handle HR/payroll oversight, benefits administration, and vendor/insurance relationshipsPartner directly with ownership on financial strategy and decision-makingEnsure clean books, strong controls, and audit/tax coordinationWhat they’re looking for:Prior family office or closely held/private company experienceStrong real estate accounting exposureHands-on, roll-up-your-sleeves mentality (this is not a pure strategic CFO)Comfortable wearing multiple hats (accounting + light HR/legal/vendor oversight)Bachelor’s in Accounting/Finance; CPA preferredKeys (3):Family office + real estate exposureHands-on operator (not too big company / not too narrow)Ability to interface directly with ownership
